Kullu Caps, as the name suggests they belongs to Himachal. Earlier they used to be hand woven but nowdays these are made in machines too. These caps represent Himachal culture in its own way. Caps are worn to express gratitude and identity of the specific region. It represents the area in its unique way. The traditional yet stylish headgear has derived its name from the place of its origin. Locally, it is called as Kullu topi and is an important part of a local man’s attire. The designs of the caps represent the specific area. The Kullu cap is round in shape and is flat on the top. A band of bright colorful border brightens the front with beautiful pattern, which is separately woven on small looms and the back portion, which covers the head is made of local woolen yarn and sometimes is also made of cotton or any other light material. These caps are full of warmth and has some great quality.
Pahadi Corner does not give away the caps which are machine made. We support hand woven caps which are made by local people here only. They are capable of giving some good quality along with good number of caps. We are supporting local farmers as well local weavers in creating something which is good for everyone. We support them with good market and they help us providing some good products to all over India.
